Kerri Chandler Kaoz Theory Rarity

Having started Madhouse Records in 1992, Chandler has collaborated with a stellar list of artists through the years, with his offshoot Madtech releasing slighter more tech-orientated sounds since 2012. He also started a new venture this year called Kaoz Theory - something that reignites the work he did.

14 August 2015 will be bringing ’s new Kaoz Theory label to life at this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, with a special showcase at Sugarfactory as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations. Taking place on Friday 16 October, the event will see Kerri joined by Heist Recordings bosses Detroit Swindle, Circo Loco regular DJ W!LD, Madhouse / Madtech signings Voyeur and Stephane Ghenacia for an intimate session at the Leidseplein venue. The label recently launched with a special compilation, featuring music from the likes of Seth Troxler, David Squillace, Matthias Tanzmann, Martinez Brothers, Chez Damier and Rick Wade. It’s set to cater to the dubbier, trackier side of Chandler’s persona, with many more big names lined up for releases. “ With the Kaoz label featuring so many established artists, I don’t really need to wait for vocalists or musicians to come in to the studio and record their parts” Kerri explained of his involvement with the label in an interview with Traxsource.

“I can find the time to sit with my creative process experimenting in the studio. With Kaoz I can experiment with heavier, darker sounds and lots of unconventional ways of recording and modifying gear. Kaoz comes from a very personal expression of what I am as a producer and what I’m looking to play out as a DJ.” saw Jazzy Jeff, DJ W!LD (who played a rare disco set), Soul Clap and Kon create a road block at the venue, so is strongly recommended for this year’s event. Details: Date: 16/10/15 Venue: Sugarfactory Time: 2200 – 0600 Address: Lijnbaansgracht 238, 1017 PH, Amsterdam, NL.

Review Back to 1998! King Kerri's second 'Fingerprintz' EP gets a timely rewind and it still sounds as beautiful and startlingly soulful as it ever did. Regarded as one of his best hidden gems, every track hits the sweet spot. The gentle insistency of 'The Dark Past', the heaven-sent vocals of Errik Landcher on 'Where's The Love In The World', the carnival vibrancy of 'Up And Away' and the incredible vocal textures, pianos and lavish walking bassline on 'Dat Da Da'. They sound sublime almost 20 years later and will do so in another 20 years time too. Spam Reader Pro Serial Number.
